Origin of a hero

Steven J Livingstone was born in the Royal Burgh of Stirling in the summer of 1970. An unremarkable childhood followed; the usual stuff, primary school, secondary school, minor mishaps here and there. In short, if there was a radar, Steven wouldn't have registered on it. He had a solid upbringing, both parents were always there for him, and he had a close knit group of friends. Not blessed with the great height, and always a tad heavier than he would have liked, he could be described as the epitome of average.
